JOB OPPORTUNITY: ACCOUNTANT

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to lead our accounts department  in Ndola.  This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of our financial operations and play a key role in shaping the future of our internal accounting function.

About the Role:

The accountant  will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounts department. Someone with solid experience in general accounting who can confidently manage the department and ensure financial accuracy, compliance and efficiency across all our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all accounting operations.
Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Manage budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.
Monitor day-to-day financial transactions and record-keeping.
Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as needed.

Must be the member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants(ZICAs).

Minimum 4 years’ experience in accounting.

Proven experience leading or managing an accounting team or department.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA) will be an added advantage.
