Job Description
Century Loans Limited is seeking a strategic and results-driven Accountant to be part of our finance and accounting operations. This role requires an individual with a strong foundation in financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership:
Provide leadership and direction to the accounting department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Operational Oversight:
Oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

Tax Compliance:
Manage and ensure timely filings and regulatory compliance while minimizing tax liabilities.

Budgeting and Financial Planning:
Direct and oversee all budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making.
Experience and Qualifications

Experience in leadership roles within an accounting or finance department.

Degree in Accountancy or Finance and/or recognized accounting qualification i.e. ACCA, CIMA, ZICA

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounting standards, tax regulations and tax compliance.

Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.

High attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach to leadership.
