JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for internal financial reporting.
• Responsible for ZRA tax filling and compliance.
• Responsible for monthly project accounting using the WINPACCS accounting system.
• Responsible for production/ limited accounting.
• Responsible for financial submissions and compliance with other government’s statutory bodies.
• To manage project assets in accordance with reporting standards and internal policies.
• Ensuring that all the statutory contributions are paid promptly.
• Managing project payables and receivables liaising with various stakeholders’ i.e. suppliers, customers, auditors etc.
• Budget preparations and analysis in liaison with project team leader.
• Responsible for Human Resources (HR) related tasks, including maintaining staff files.
• Processing the staff payroll.
• Performing any other tasks as assigned by the project supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Full grade twelve certificate with a credit or better in English and Mathematics
• Minimum diploma in accounting
• Should have good computer skills and familiar with computerized accounting packages.
• Must be a fully paid up member of ZICA.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience
