The Council of Mulungushi University is an equal opportunity employer and is inviting qualified and sufficiently motivated individuals to apply for the following positions at both Main Campus in Kabwe/Kapiri-Mposhi and the Livingstone Campus where the School of Medicine and Health Sciences is domiciled:-
Job purpose of lecturer in all instances:-
Applicants are advised that in all instances, lecturers are expected to teach, assess student performance, conduct research, publish and undertake academic-related responsibilities and to carry out community service. This applies to all lecturer positions hereby advertised.
5. ACCOUNTANT (2 positions)
Job purpose:-
The two Accountants will have separate roles; one will be responsible for payments to all suppliers and other creditors and will be expected to produce financial statements when required to do so, while the other will be in charge of Costing and Ledger.
Job requirements:-
i. Must have a Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) Credits that must include Mathematics and English Language
ii. Must have a University degree in Accountancy or a full professional accounting qualification of ACCA/CIMA/ZICA
iii. Must have at least five (5) years of post-qualification experience
iv. Must be able to produce financial statements
v. Must have good numerical skills for analysis
vi. Must have functional computer literacy skills
vii. Must be proficient in modern accounting packages such as Sage 300, Excel, Power point and Word
viii. Must be a fully paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants/Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with a valid practicing license
MODE OF APPLICATION
