Zambezi Innovate is looking for an Accounting Assistant to support the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role is ideal for someone beginning their accounting career and eager to grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities
:

Assist with day-to-day financial transactions including invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.

Record financial data and ensure accuracy in the accounting system.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

Help ensure that all financial records are accurate and up to date.

Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Ensure proper filing of financial documents and receipts.
Requirements
:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with accounting software is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
