Job Description Summary

To provide efficient handling of Accounts Payable or Receivable activities. To ensure compliance with local legislation and Sandvik processes and regulations in the Accounts Payable or Receivable area. To develop the ways of working in the Accounts Payable or Receivable area.

Job-specific responsibilities:

  • Timely processing of all Group supplier documents.
  • Timely payment of all due Group Supplier documents, in line with Payment terms.
  • Preparing and posting of monthly Journals relating to Account Payable other Expenses
  • Reconciliation of Group Supplier statement and following up on old issues and resolve them.
  • Performing finance month end procedures (Closing and opening AP periods in the System, printing of AP reports).
  • Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and follow up on unresolved issues.
  • Monthly preparation of payment projections
  • Biannually testing of Internal Controls
  • Handle and lead mid and year end stock takes.

Education and Experience

Grade 12 Certificate

Professional Education: CA Advisory Professional in Accountancy or Equivalent. must be a member of ZiCA.

3 Years experience working in Finance.
