Zambezi Innovate seeks an Accounts Payable Officer to ensure timely and accurate payment of all company expenses. The role will involve managing the full cycle of accounts payable and ensuring that all financial obligations are met in accordance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
:

Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.

Ensure all invoices are accurately coded and approved before payment.

Manage vendor accounts and ensure timely payments.

Reconcile accounts payable balances with supplier statements.

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

Monitor accounts payable aging reports and address any discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to accounts payable.

Assist in month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Requirements
:
-
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.

Knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting software.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.
