Zambezi Innovate is searching for an Accounts Receivable Officer responsible for managing the company’s incoming payments and ensuring that all revenue is accurately recorded. The role includes tracking customer payments, resolving any discrepancies, and working closely with the finance team to optimize cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
:

Generate invoices and ensure they are sent to customers promptly.

Track outstanding accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.

Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any billing issues.

Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and receipts.

Prepare accounts receivable reports for management.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements by providing accurate revenue data.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding accounts receivable.
Requirements
:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.

Strong understanding of invoicing and payment processes.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
