Advocacy Officer

Job Description: Savanna Synergy is hiring an Advocacy Officer to promote and advance our organizational goals through public and policy advocacy. The Advocacy Officer will be responsible for developing advocacy strategies, engaging with stakeholders, and influencing policy changes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement advocacy strategies to support organizational objectives.
Engage with policymakers, stakeholders, and community leaders to advocate for change.
Monitor and analyze policy developments and advocate for relevant issues.
Organize advocacy campaigns, events, and outreach activities.
Prepare advocacy reports and materials for internal and external use.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of advocacy and public policy processes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to develop and implement effective advocacy strategies.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Skills:

Proficiency in advocacy and policy analysis tools.
Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
Good organizational and public speaking skills.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in advocacy or a related role.
