Zambezi Innovate is looking for an innovative and technically skilled Agricultural Engineer to design, develop, and implement agricultural equipment and processes to improve efficiency and sustainability. The role will involve working closely with farmers and agricultural businesses to implement engineering solutions that enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop agricultural machinery, equipment, and processes for improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with agricultural businesses to implement engineering solutions that meet their needs.
• Conduct research on sustainable agricultural technologies and their applications.
• Provide technical support and training on the use and maintenance of agricultural equipment.
• Analyze agricultural operations to recommend improvements in irrigation, soil management, and crop production.
• Ensure that engineering designs comply with local regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare reports and documentation on projects, designs, and assessments.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in agricultural engineering or a similar role.
• Strong technical skills in designing and implementing agricultural machinery and systems.
• Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and irrigation systems.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
