Job Title: Analyst Data Privacy
Under the supervision of the Senior Manager- Compliance, below are the Key Job Responsibilities;

Facilitate identification, assessment, and mitigation of data privacy risks and vulnerabilities;

Monitor the effectiveness of privacy controls and escalate issues as needed;
-
Ensure ongoing compliance with data privacy policies and procedures through monitoring and reporting;
-
Track and report on data privacy compliance metrics;
-
Support the preparation of reports for local leadership and the Group Privacy Office;
-
Facilitate data privacy training and awareness initiatives across MTN Zambia;
-
Maintain records of training completion and feedback;
-
Act as a liaison with Departmental Data Privacy Champions and enabling functions (e.g., Legal, Risk, InfoSec);
-
Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in engagements with regulators and external stakeholders;
-
Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).

Assist in the localisation and maintenance of data privacy policies, procedures, and collateral;
-
Regularly review and update data privacy policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective and compliant;
-
Support the investigation and documentation of data privacy incidents and breaches.

Assist in root cause analysis and follow-up actions;
-
Maintain records of data processing activities, privacy incidents, and other relevant information;
-
Staying informed about changes in data privacy laws, regulations, and industry best practices;
-
Work with IT and other teams to implement technical and procedural solutions in bridging legal, technical, and operational aspects of data protection;

Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field;
-
Professional qualification or certification in data privacy, Risk, Audit or Compliance is advantageous;
-
Grade 12 Certificate. (5 O’ Level credits, including compulsorily English Language and Mathematics);

A minimum of 3 years’ experience of legal and regulatory/auditing/risk management/Compliance in a medium to large organization;
-
Experience in working across diverse cultures and geographies (advantageous);
-
