Job description:
Overall Job Purpose
-
As a member of the TSF & Dams team and reporting into the Maintenance Superintendent, TSF.
-
The Analyst reliability performs the monitoring and reliability of the equipment which includes sump pumps, knife valves, and pipelines across the TSF facilities, developing strategies for the maintenance plan.

The role has a focus on minute-hourly-daily basis.
Specific Job Responsibility
-
Continuously engage execution teams to ensure that the Condition Monitoring reports provide actionable information that is accurate and reliable.
-
Perform Condition Monitoring inspections and keep data up to date according to inspection frequencies extracted from equipment strategies and individual equipment with special conditions; including Pipes (HDPE&Steel) non-destructive thickness measures.

Analyse and trend predictive maintenance data to identify and implement potential resource optimisation initiatives.

Constantly refine the condition-based maintenance program to forewarn execution teams of impending failure and increase the lead time to react.

Develop and maintain condition monitoring procedures and standards

Document all aspects relevant to application of predictive maintenance techniques such as: Equipment Inspected, Consumables, inventories, inspection worksheets, etc.

Development of an asset health framework for the TSF.

Identify and procure all tooling and equipment to support condition monitoring strategies.

Experience required to perform in this job
-
5+ years’ condition monitoring experience in the mining industry
-
Proficiency with maintenance and reliability systems (ERP or CMMS, monitoring systems; SCADA, OsiSoft PI and/or databases in general).

Experience in development of equipment health reports.
Qualifications
-
Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of 5 passes plus additional training certificates or its equivalent.
-
Eligibility to hold legal appointment as defined by the Mining Regulations of Zambia.
-
Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferably.

Boiler making and plastic welding experience required

All qualifications should be certified by ZAQA
