Overview

We are recruiting!

Our client in the fertilizer and seed production is looking for an experienced  Assistant Accountant Accounts Receivable to join their team.

Operational Effectiveness

• Capture account receivables entries to record and track customer transactions, ensuring accurate financial records and facilitating timely collections.
• Process received funds and payments to reconcile accounts and maintain cash flow, ensuring efficient management of receivables and liquidity.
• Generate and transmit customer statements to communicate outstanding balances and facilitate prompt payment, supporting cash flow management and customer relations

Sustainable Growth

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the organization.

Good Governance, Risk and Compliance

• Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and resolve discrepancies promptly, supporting reliable financial statements and audits.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Higher Certificates and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates Technician – Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants

Minimum Experience

• 2-3 years of experience working in a team.
