We are looking to recruit a Assistant Accountant for our client in the Milling Industry to be responsible for supporting the finance department to complete routine clerical accounting tasks, purchase orders and processes business expenses and to ensure to complete bank reconciliations and enter financial information into appropriate software program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure to verify balances in account books, bank deposits and rectify discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports on a regular basis and provide information to the financial team.
• Managing day to day transactions
• Posting daily receipts
• Sorting financial documents and posting into proper accounts at assigned location.

Qualifications

• A full grade (12) School Certificate
• ACCA Level 2, CIMA, Diploma level, ZICA licentiate or its equivalent
• (3) year proven experience in such a similar role.
• Must also be detail oriented, organised, timely and with competent data entry and IT skills.
