Job Summary:
The Junior Assistant Accountant will support the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with daily financial operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a desire to learn and develop within the accounting field.
Key Responsibilities:

Record Keeping:
Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Assist in processing invoices, tracking payments, and managing accounts receivable.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review.

Reconciliation:
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

Expense Tracking:
Monitor and track company expenses to ensure budget compliance.

Data Entry:
Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and databases.

Assistance:
Provide support to senior accountants and other team members as needed.

Compliance:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications:

Education:
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a similar role or internship experience in accounting.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
