Job Description

Zambezi Innovate is looking for an Assistant Auditor to support the auditing team by conducting financial reviews and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Assistant Auditor will work closely with senior auditors to review financial documents, verify accuracy, and report findings.
Key Responsibilities
:

Assist in conducting audits of financial statements and accounting records.

Review financial reports for accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Collect, analyze, and verify financial information from various departments.

Prepare audit reports and provide recommendations for improving financial controls.

Assist in identifying discrepancies and investigating financial irregularities.

Work with the accounting team to ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
Requirements
:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

At least 2 years of experience in auditing or accounting.

Strong understanding of auditing principles and procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
