JOB SUMMARY :
To serve the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by ensuring the effective management of all the financial matters of the hotel. To make sure the hotel maximizes the control of revenue and operating cost.
As a member of the finance department, this role is responsible for ensuring that all the financial affairs of the hotel are conducted to the highest standards of honesty and integrity. High ethical standards are necessary to maintain both competitive advantage and the pride and confidence of our associates, and to provide quality products and services to customers and clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory and Stock Management:

Systematically collect and consolidate stock reports from various outlets and departments to maintain an accurate inventory of all food and beverage items.

Lead monthly stock audits, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.

Proactively analyze inventory data to pinpoint slow-moving items, devising strategies to reduce waste and improve turnover rates.
Financial Analysis and Cost Reporting:

Prepare precise daily cost reports for food and beverage operations, highlighting cost variances and potential areas for efficiency improvements.

Conduct regular audits of food reporting processes to ensure data accuracy, liaising with the culinary team to rectify any discrepancies.

Collaborate with the Chef to align on cost-saving measures and budget adherence strategies.

Sales Analysis and Pricing Strategy:

Evaluate sales performance of food and beverage items, using data-driven insights to influence menu pricing and promotional strategies.

Review and refine the pricing policy regularly to ensure it aligns with market trends, customer expectations, and business objectives.

Provide detailed reports and recommendations on pricing adjustments to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Foster a collaborative working relationship with the culinary and operations teams to streamline cost control processes.

Engage with various department heads to ensure cohesive financial strategies and transparency across all levels of F&B operations.

Present regular updates and insights to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making processes.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, ZICA, ACCA, CIMA Level 2 or related field.

At least 3-5 years of experience in cost control management

Demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting, inventory management, and data analysis.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with industry-standard financial software.
