Assistant Education and Training Officer

The Council of the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE) is looking for a suitably qualified, experienced and result oriented person to fill in the position of Assistant Education and Training Officer.

JOB PURPOSE

To assist registration of students and provision of administrative support services in order to ensure admission of appropriate candidates and assist in the implementation of training programmes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist prospective students to register using the ZIALE Student Management Information System (ZSMIS) for all training programmes.

• Undertakes effectively the timely connection of online facilities in readiness for class or meetings.

• Undertakes effectively the distribution of teaching and learning materials to students and lecturers for all courses.

• Undertakes effectively the development and review of programmes in liaison with programme experts.

• Undertakes effectively the administration and analysis quality assurance tools to technical staff and students.

• Undertakes effectively the preparation of student correspondence for all Programmes.

• Undertakes effectively the handling and gathering of student queries.

• Undertakes effectively the keeping of all required records.

• Supervise and undertakes effectively the printing of educational materials for use by students and faculty staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Full form V or Grade 12 Certificate

• Diploma in Public Administration/ Education Administration and Management or equivalent

• Two (2) Years’ Experience
