A prominent and major real estate company based in Lusaka with over many years in the property market seeks the services of the following persons:

ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Purpose

To develop a working processes and procedures relating to proactive identification, planning, implementation and monitoring of the property installations and reporting on the same in order to successively realise the company’s mission, objectives and goals effectively and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare annual work maintenance plans and budgetary requirements;
Carry out checks and inspections as necessary to ensure equipment is safe, reliable and well maintained;
Conduct routine inspections of various properties and equipment;
Ensure basic maintenance and repair works are performed;
Carryout repairs and maintenance tasks as may be necessary
Run a planned maintenance programme, including:
Ensuring all electrical plumbing, painting, general maintenance works are attended to timely and efficiently.
Supervise maintenance works from contracted companies in accordance with contract terms and conditions;
Comply with relevant legislation policies and procedures applicable to the role.

Qualification and Experience

Full Grade 12 Certificate
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or General Engineering
Five (5) years of relevant work experience
Member of EIZ
