Job Details

Reports to the Study Coordinator. The incumbent manages all activities of the study to ensure the study is a success.

Main Duties

• Oversees all field activities
• Manages activity floats
• Manages all study documentation
• Supervises implementation officers, research assistants, community healthcare workers
• Provides input to study management on the key implementation challenges and solutions
• Performs QA/QC monitoring of study processes and acting on discrepancies immediately
• Provides input in preparing study-related reports/presentations as requested for studyfunders or other interested parties
• Participates in study sensitization activities
• Supports training of staff members as necessary
• Maintains confidentiality of study data and privacy of participants at all times
• Any other assigned duties/responsibilities for the successful functioning of the study

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum Degree in Development Studies/ Sociology/Public health/Adult Education or in another relevant area.
• 2 years relevant work experience
• Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative research
• Demonstrated experience in program implementation
• Demonstrated experience working with communities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good relationship skills with community and government departments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in English and Bemba/Nyanja
