Compute relevant tax in strict compliance with applicable tax laws on regulations.

filling of tax and fiscal requirements within defined statutory deadlines.

Assist DCP’s Tax remittances and provisioning to ensure appropriateness.

Implement the retention and preparation of tax records, tax returns, and tax documentation.

Ensure complete and accurate documentation of relevant supports and proof of tax remittance.

Respond to ad-hoc inquires on tax related issues.

Participate in relevant negotiations with tax authorities.

Continually Identify Assess and Advise DCP’S Management of Tax Saving Opportunities.

Assist in the provision of tax efficient solutions to DCPs Projects and stakeholder activities.

stay up to date on tax related trends (e.g. changes in relevant tax laws), analyze their impact and provide recommendations to management on necessary steps. This includes NAPSA.

Sustain and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including local and international tax authorities, tax consultants etc.

Ensure DCP’s activities comply with local Tax and financial regulatory requirements.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics
• Full Grade Twelve school certificate
• Relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA among others
• Relevant, Recognized and Accredited Professional Accounting Qualification(s) is compulsory
• Minimum of three (3) years progressive and relevant work experience with atleast 2years in tax Accounting role
. Hands on experience in ERP system, preferably SAP.
