Job Description

Are you skilled in automotive electrical systems and vehicle diagnostics? Are you ready to deliver top-tier service in a modern, fast-paced repair facility? Vroomotive Autobody is seeking experienced professionals to fill the following positions:

Positions Available

Auto Electrician (1 vacancy)
Diagnostics Technician (1 vacancy)

Auto Electrician – Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and overhaul automotive electrical systems, wiring, alternators, starters, batteries, lighting, and infotainment systems.
Install and maintain security systems, GPS modules, and aftermarket accessories.
Troubleshoot faults using wiring diagrams and advanced testing equipment.
Ensure electrical work complies with safety, manufacturer, and insurance standards.
Collaborate with mechanics and body technicians on integrated repairs involving electrics and electronics.
Maintain accurate repair and service records.

Diagnostics Technician – Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced vehicle fault diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools (OBD, CAN-bus analysis, etc.).
Analyze and resolve issues in powertrain, chassis, emission controls, and electronic driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Advise on repair strategies based on test and scan results.
Support training of workshop staff on diagnostic processes.
Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
Produce detailed reports for customers, insurers, and assessors.

Qualifications & Requirements

Auto Electrician:

Trade certificate or diploma in auto electrics or electronic engineering.
3+ years’ experience as an automotive electrician in a busy workshop.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with multimeters, oscilloscopes, scan tools, and wiring diagrams.

Diagnostics Technician:

Trade certificate/diploma in automotive engineering, preferably with specialisation in diagnostics.
At least 3 years’ experience in advanced vehicle diagnostics (all major brands).
Excellent understanding of modern automotive electronics, control units, and ADAS systems.
Familiar with major diagnostics software (e.g., Autel, Bosch, Launch, Snap-On).

Technically adept, attentive to detail, and safety-conscious.
Good team player and communicator.
Willing to continue learning as vehicle technologies advance.
Valid driver’s license is an advantage.
