About the role:

Biliam Works Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join our Heavy Equipment Repair (HER) division. This is a critical role supporting our operations in various mines, with a strong focus on quality repairs and diagnostics for mining and construction machinery.

Position : Auto Electrician – Heavy Equipment Repair (HER)

Location : Kitwe or Ndola (must be currently based in either city)

Experience : Minimum 5 years hands-on experience working with heavy equipment and mining vehicles

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in heavy-duty equipment, trucks, and auxiliary mining machinery
• Carry out troubleshooting using electrical schematics and diagnostic tools
• Install and service lighting, batteries, alternators, starters, wiring systems, controllers, sensors, and control panels
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer standards
• Support field repair assignments when required

Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in Auto Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of proven work experience on heavy-duty equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, XCMG, SANY, Terex, etc.)

Compensation:

The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
