240. Automotive Painter

Job Description: Prosper Zambia is seeking an Automotive Painter to apply paint and finish to vehicles. The Automotive Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and ensuring a high-quality finish on all vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning, and masking.
• Mix and apply paint and clear coats according to specifications.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality and consistency.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure proper use of paint materials.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and artistic skills.
• Ability to use painting tools and equipment effectively.
• Knowledge of paint types and application techniques.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive painting is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficiency in automotive painting and finishing techniques.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive painter or in a similar role.
