Location: B&S Bakery Limited, Woodlands, Lusaka

About Us:

B&S Bakery Limited is a well-established bakery in Lusaka, known for its high-quality baked goods, including bread, buns, and bread rolls. We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our production processes and ensure the consistent delivery of top-notch products.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee and manage daily bakery production operations, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met

– Plan and coordinate production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products

– Supervise and train production staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment

– Implement and maintain quality control measures and food safety standards

– Manage inventory and supply chain for raw materials and finished products

– Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement

– Work closely with other departments, including sales and logistics, to ensure smooth operations

– Compliance, food handlers’ certificates and bakery certification is done as required

Requirements

– Proven experience as a Production Manager in a bakery or food production environment

– Strong knowledge of bakery production processes and quality control standards

– Excellent leadership and team management skills

– Certificate in management/ food production

– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

– Familiarity with health and safety regulations

– Good communication and interpersonal skills
