If so, Vroomotive Autobody invites you to join our dynamic team as a Body and Parts Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the auto body repair workshop and parts department.
Coordinate and supervise staff, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Manage parts procurement, stock levels, and supplier relationships; process orders and returns promptly.
Implement cost controls and inventory management protocols for optimal efficiency and minimum wastage.
Ensure all repairs and parts usage meet manufacturer and insurance company standards.
Liaise with insurance assessors and customers for smooth claims and repair processes.
Monitor repair quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety/environmental regulations.
Generate departmental performance reports and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, business management, or related field.
At least 3 years’ supervisory experience in an automotive workshop or parts department (body shop experience strongly preferred).
Proficient with modern estimating software (e.g., Audatex, Mitchell Dr. Smash), inventory management systems, and MS Office Suite.
Proven ability to manage staff, workflows, and customer/insurance communications.
Excellent organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
