Body Shop Technician

Job Description: Prosper Zambia is hiring a Body Shop Technician to repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies. The Body Shop Technician will work on repairing dents, scratches, and structural damage to ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose vehicle body damage.
• Perform repairs on vehicle frames, panels, and paintwork.
• Use specialized tools and techniques to restore vehicles to original condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure quality of repairs.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to use body shop tools and equipment effectively.
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in auto body repair is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficiency in body repair and painting techniques.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a body shop technician or in a similar role.
