Lusaka Nexus Solutions is seeking an experienced Building Contractor to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The Building Contractor will be responsible for coordinating with clients, suppliers, and construction teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the planning, design, and construction of residential and commercial projects.
Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for multiple projects.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure proper project execution.
Hire, supervise, and manage construction workers and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Monitor the progress of projects and report to clients on key milestones.
Handle any construction-related issues or delays that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Requirements :

Proven experience as a building contractor or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and safety regulations.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
