Lusaka Nexus Solutions is looking for a meticulous Building Inspector to oversee construction projects and ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations. The Building Inspector will be responsible for inspecting buildings at various stages of construction and certifying that they meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Ensure that construction complies with building codes, safety regulations, and design specifications.
• Identify potential safety hazards and construction deficiencies.
• Recommend corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
• Issue permits and certificates for buildings that meet compliance standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction managers.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and prepare written reports.

Requirements :

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Building Inspector or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple inspections simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
