Job Description

Contracts Manager Role for an International company based in Solwezi

Responsibilities:

Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ensuring they align with company policies and legal requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to develop contract terms and conditions.
Analyze and interpret contract terms, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
Monitor and enforce contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Handle dispute resolution and claims management in collaboration with legal teams.
Work closely with procurement teams to ensure subcontractor and supplier agreements are in line with project requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation.
Provide guidance to project teams on contractual matters.
Keep abreast of changes in legislation and industry best practices related to contracts and construction law.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts management within the scaffolding industry.
Strong understanding and experience in the scaffolding  industry
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in contract review and analysis.
Familiarity with project management processes and construction industry practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in contract management software and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications in contracts management (e.g., Certified Commercial Contracts Manager -CCCM).
Master’s degree in Construction Management is an advantage !
