Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities

Ensuring that he/she builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.

Identifying trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events.

Tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.

Locating or proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners.

Discovering and exploring business opportunities.
-
Screening potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
-
Evaluating options and resolving internal priorities.
-
Recommending equity investments.
-
Developing negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations.
-
Examining risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
-
Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.

Protecting organization’s value by keeping confidential information.
-
Enhancing organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Qualification/Experience Requirements:
-
Grade 12 School Certificate
-
BA in Business Administration/B Eng Mechanical or a related field
-
3 -5 years of Sales Experience
-
Not more than 45 years old
-
Member of a relevant professional board
-
Holder a Master’s Degree an added advantage
