Job Summary
The Business solutions Analyst will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of our performance across all our activities, and to develop and implement a repeatable process for monitoring and reporting it. He/she will have the opportunity to work across teams, getting to know all that is going on in the organization and challenging teams on how they assess and improve their performance. He/she will be responsible for creating material reporting on the function’s performance to the Director, Heads, CMC, and the Board of Directors.
He/she will also be instrumental in creating forecasts for business cases, using statistical and analytical techniques to understand the key drivers towards achieving key project initiatives and target outputs for the function.
The role holder will act as the communication medium between the business and technology teams. Then help translate the business requirements for the tech team. This way, the tech team can create solutions that improve our business or products.
He/she will have a mentality of continuous improvement and strong analytical and interpersonal skills. He/she will enjoy working in a delivery focused, agile environment. It is a standalone role, which entails having the maturity to work independently on a day-to-day basis and have the wisdom to know when to collaborate, delegate and/or escalate.
Job Description
Accountability: Performance Reporting and Analysis: – (50%)
Outputs:
Role holder will influence decision-making through quality and depth of analytical insights and recommendations for improvement. In particular, he/she will focus on the following:

Prepare regular management and dashboard reports to provide insight into programs, financials, risk, compliance, and other performance areas to support decision making and inform progress against service delivery outcomes.

Monitor and prepare trend analysis, graphs and provide variance analysis to support the development of strategies and initiatives that deliver on organizational objectives.
-
Responsible for optimizing our performance reporting structure and repeatable process.
-
Optimize our KPI dashboard.

Develop and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships and partnerships through effective, advice, communication, negotiation, and issues management recommending and implementing ways to improve performance and the efficiency and reliability of products and services to ensure deliverables and business objectives are met and a positive customer experience.

Identify and highlight opportunities for performance improvement.

Develop reporting material in a succinct, visual manner.

Design, test, and implement IT solutions.

Manage IT projects to ensure they meet business objectives.

Adapt to remain current with IT trends.

Maintain awareness of relevant issues, policy obligations, insights, challenges industry trends and practices and opportunities to recommend innovative solutions that optimize outcomes and contribute to a best practice function in line with organizational and function priorities.
Accountability: Analytical Support for various forum (20%)
Outputs:

Drive strategic analysis and provide recommendations for ad hoc requests, both from within the team and externally.

Inputting performance forecasts and targets for business cases through scenario modelling

Develop and document departmental strategy documents and drive collaboration with other functions.

Identify sources of performance data, extract the data and transform into insightful performance reports.

Advise and guide on the key strategy and planning issues from across the business.

Education and Experience Required
Preferred: Bachelor`s Degree and professional qualification
Essential: Advanced Diploma or Diploma in relevant professional qualification (Banking, Economics, Business administration, etc)
Experience:
