Our client in Zambia is looking for a camp supervisor to join their team for a job vacancy within the conservation industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Active involvement in the operation and delivery of the camp programs
-
Maintain a welcoming, safe, and healthy environment for the clients
-
Plan, implement and supervise all staff with guidance program and camp activities
-
Assist with responding to questions and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
-
Ensure programs run on schedule and all required supplies are purchased
-
Learn and teach assigned camp curriculum and weekly camp programming
-
Ensure daily administration tasks are completed
-
Oversee daily camp operations and activities and overall duties of Camp staff
-
Complete all written reports, as required
-
Always maintain the facility in a safe and clean manner and report any problems to the Camp Manager immediately.

Ensure that all security measures, policies and facility procedures and health and safety procedures are always followed.

Develop and maintain current, accurate and confidential client files.

Be familiar with emergency procedures as they pertain to the summer camp program.

Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

High energy, self-starter

Excellent people skills and a friendly, responsible, service-oriented attitude
-
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
-
Educational background in Hospitality or similar.
-
Experience with at least 5 years in a camp setting
-
Able to withstand a physically demanding job (very active job, primarily outdoors)
