Lusaka Nexus Solutions is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The Cashier will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction by providing friendly service and ensuring that all cash and credit transactions are handled securely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
:

Handle cash, credit, and mobile money transactions using cash registers and other payment systems.

Process sales transactions quickly and accurately.

Provide receipts and correct change to customers.

Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report discrepancies.

Assist with answering customer inquiries and providing information about products.

Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.

Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless shopping experience.
Requirements
:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.

Excellent numerical and cash handling skills.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Honest, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
