Est. In 2007, SYLKay Pharmacies (part of SYLKay Group) is a duly-registered and one of the leading pharmaceutical retail chains in Zambia.

Opportunity:

SYLKay seeks to immediately employ 6 Cashiers to be based in Lusaka, Zambia. This position offers a successful candidate a unique opportunity to work closely with middle management and other team members in offering quality services to our clients.

Organizational Setting:

The Cashier, will work under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager to meet SYLKay specific company deliverables.

Key Result Areas;

Customer Care & Customer Service

Cash Handling and Record Keeping

Sales & Cashiering

Qualifications and attributes:

GRADE 12 Certificate – Preferably GRADES 1 to 3 in Maths, Sciences and English

Self Motivated, honest and workaholic

No minimum work experience required, but desirable

Experience working in a pharmaceutical or medical setting is an added advantage but NOT A MUST

Proficient user of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent team player and experience working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders desirable but NOT A MUST

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task and strong interpersonal capabilities

Dependability and promptness in completing tasks

Flexible and willing to work in different branches as required
