Job Description

Lusaka Nexus Solutions is looking for an experienced Chef to join its culinary team. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
:

Plan and prepare meals according to the menu, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.

Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that meets health and safety standards.

Monitor food stock and manage inventory levels.

Order supplies and ingredients as needed.

Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols.

Develop new recipes and improve existing menu items.
Requirements
:

Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field.

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.

Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.

Creativity and passion for cooking high-quality meals.

Strong leadership and team management skills.
