Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Accountant located in Lusaka at NetOne. The Chief Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, accurate accounting & record keeping, financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and ensuring the proper controls are consistently followed.

Qualifications

• Must have either an Accounting degree, ACCA, CIMA or ZICA.
• Must have a minimum of 5 Years work experience in a lead accounting role.
• Must be fully conversant with local Tax filings for VAT, PAYE, NAPSA & NHIMA.
• Accurate book keeping skills
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles and Regulations
• Experience in debtors and creditors management
• Strong background in accounting reconciliations
• Experience with ERP Systems and Financial Software
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving abilities
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
