General duties and responsibilities:

• Driving the company’s financial planning
• Performing risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
• Deciding on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
• Control and evaluate the company’s  fundraising plans and capital structure
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
• Supervise and manage all finance and accounting personnel
• Manage vendor relationships
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
• Prepare Income tax
• Set up and oversee the company’s finance and accounting IT system
• Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.

Further the position needs the following requirements:

1. Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role
2. In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
3. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
4. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Pastel)
5. Ability to strategize and solve problems
6. Strong leadership and organizational skills
7. Excellent communication and people skills
8. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
9. Must be ZICA Level Three
10. Must have experience of the audit process
11. Must have experience with tax planning
