Position reports to

Purpose
To diligently execute maintenance planning functions according to instructions and prescribed standards ensuring that optimum equipment availability and reliability is realised.
Key Responsibilities

Planning and Scheduling Plant Services (weekly, monthly and quarterly)

Conducting Applications for Non Stock Item (ANSI) of every spare part to purchase
-
Monitoring the Service Machine Running (SMR) and daily Operating Hours
-
Creating and Monitoring PM Task on Pronto System
-
Creating and Monitoring Condition Monitoring System on Pronto
-
Estimating required total down time
-
Opening and closing of the work orders
-
Determine and analyse critical spare parts
-
Maintain bill of material correct
-
Updating the maintenance information live
-
Chasing all work orders and back logs are well managed
-
Daily morning meeting (Senior Supervisor Planner)
-
Raising and Monitoring the status of the sales orders / ETA
-
Daily Break Downs Report (Engineering and Process Managers)
-
Monthly Project performance report (FQM Roads Project and Smelter Engineering Managers)
-
Presenting Monthly Project performance (Smelter Manager, Process and Engineering Manager)
-
Monthly Oil (Lubricants) consumption reports (Cost Accountant and Engineering Manager)
-
Providing monthly backup information for project cost code queries (Utilities Superintendent and Cost Accountant)
-
Monthly Audits (Cost Accountant and Utilities Superintendent)
-
Providing the needful guiding information to the Purchasing Team (Kan-Purchasing/Expediting)

Corresponding with external technical support service providers
-
Coordinating and linking between the Managements (Kansanshi Smelter and FQM Roads)
-
Managing and Maintain Filing System
-
Acting and taking all admin responsibilities whenever FQM Roads Maintenance Supervisor goes on the rotation leave (smelter project)

Equipment change out planning
-
Tyre management
Qualifications
-
Minimum of a Grade 12 Full Certificate
-
Craft Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair from recognized Institution
Experience
-
Minimum experience 2 – 3 years
-
Previous work experience in maintenance planning will be advantageous.

Use of PRONTO will be an added advantage.
