Reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer, you will be responsible for providing accessible, quality, and cost-effective medical care to employees and communities at the Mine Clinic.
Your duties & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: –

Conduct medical examinations, diagnose, treat, and manage patients in accordance with national clinical guidelines.

Monitor and evaluate patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Provide emergency care and first aid services.
-
Refer complicated cases to appropriate Medical Officers or specialists.
-
Prescribe appropriate medications and ensure accurate dispensing.
-
Maintain accurate patient records and submit periodic reports as required.
-
Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
-
Participate in public health interventions, outreach programs, and clinical audits.

Ensure infection prevention and control protocols.

Work collaboratively with other health professionals and ensure effective service delivery.
To be considered for the position, the applicant must have the following:
-
Grade 12 Certificate
-
A Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution (Degree is an added advantage).

Must be fully registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) with a valid practicing license.

Minimum Two (2) years work experience in a similar role.
-
Proven ability to work independently and under pressure in a clinical setting.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong ethical and professional conduct.

Knowledge of current MoH protocols and guidelines.
-
Computer literacy is an added advantage.
