Lumwana Mining Company seeks to recruit a highly motivated and committed Zambian for the position of Clinical Officer General to join the versatile Health and Safety team. We are in search of an individual who can champion Barrick’s DNA by:

Reporting to the Medical Officer and working together with other clinicians, you will mainly be responsible for attending to patients (employees and their dependents) from our facility clinics.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Attending to patients in the outpatient department.
Attending to emergencies, including trauma management.
Assisting with HIV/AIDS care.
Assisting with pre-employment medicals.
Health promotion and employee wellness activities.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

Minimum – A diploma in clinical medicine
Three years’ working experience.
Registered with Health Professions Council of Zambia – HPCZ
Working knowledge of basic computer applications such as Microsoft word/excel.
ACLS/ATLS certification and/or anesthesia certification as an added advantage.
