Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure in Lusaka. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor cloud system performance and ensure availability.
• Implement security measures to protect cloud data.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation and reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing principles and practices.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering.
