Our client, with resort operations in Lusaka, is looking for an experienced Conference and Banqueting Manager to join their team based in Lusaka. He/she would report directly to the Resort Food and Beverage Manager.

Responsibilities

Maintain hotel standards to the highest standards.

Manage multiple conference facilities sometimes, simultaneously.

Maintain and manage conference equipment.

Manage large number of staff.
-
Liaise with and manage 3rd party contractors where necessary.

Manage budgets.

Reporting
-
Liaising with other departments.
Requirements
-
Hospitality qualification
-
More than 15 years’ experience in Conference and Banqueting operations. Preference will be given to individuals who have demonstrated experience working in 4 – 5 star operations.

Budget generation and management
-
Staff management experience.

Excellent communication skills.
