To advance our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), specifically around Workplace Culture, we need to develop a learning journey to build on DEI competencies, shared language and advance and inclusive organization culture.
Project Objective
To co-design and co-create a globally acceptable, inclusive, engaging, interactive eLearning pathway about Diversity Inclusion and Equity (DEI) at Orbis International.
Scope of Work

Review background information with DEI working group and/or other Orbis focal person and select course content for course modules.

Preparation of content – Identify main concepts, key words and phrasing, demonstration scenarios. Suggested focus areas are as follows and not limited to:
-
Definition and understanding of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as well as understanding the differences, goals and importance.

Increasing awareness of unconscious bias
-
Recognizing and addressing Microaggressions
-
Roles and Responsibilities: Encouraging Action
-
Link between DEI and other organizational policies (Anti-harassment and Anti-discrimination)
-
What next? Intentional Inclusion and building a truly diverse culture.
-
Create and produce relevant course modules.
-
Work with production team
-
Provide a review and revise process with Orbis to evaluate ongoing work- involvement of DEI Advisory Group.
-
Output completed modules to be used with Orbis Learning Management System (LMS) which uses SCORM.
-
Develop a work-plan and timeline for trainings- standalone.
-
Co-facilitate DEI trainings-if required.
Production work (this can be outsourced) will include:
-
Create and produce a review segment.
-
Build interactive knowledge checks.
-
Create a final scored quiz segment to check learning.
-
Design eLearning module interface – style and format – incorporate Orbis branding.
-
Video design for course modules including producing introduction/overview material as a lead-in to each pre-produced video segment clip (visuals, audio, graphics and Orbis branding. Integrate music, audio cues, sound effects throughout the course.
Expected Outcomes- Work Place Culture-DEI Workplan.

Ready potential tools to deliver shared language and begin building of DEI competencies.

Completed Pilot potential tools and training with HR Community of Practice and other employee stakeholders

Devise series of sustainable tools, training, and events to advance shared understanding and language
|

Recommend learning path to build shared language and DEI competencies and review with DEI Adv Council, ELT, and HR Community of Practice

Development and implement socialization and communication strategy of learning path
|
|

Establish and collect data for pre and post shared language learning path training and tools
|
|

Deliver mandatory and sustainable DEI shared language training and tools
|
|
-
Publish DEI shared language training and tools to Orbis Intranet
|
|

Evaluated immediate, short- and long-term effectiveness of training and tools
|
|
-
Implement recommended corrective and/or more effective actions
|

Expected Timeline:
The consultancy is expected to commence on 1st March 2024 and conclude by 31
st
May 2024 with periodic progress reports to be provided throughout the engagement.
Consultant Profile:
-
DEI specialist with extensive global expertise.
-
Demonstrated DEI work experience in fulfilment of similar/related assignments.
-
Excellent communication, collaboration, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
-
Adaptability and cultural sensitivity.
-
Established experience of working from an intersectional context/perspective on DEI matters.
Proposal Submission:
Proposals must include complete and accurate information. The proposal must include, but is not limited to, the following items:

Profile/CV highlighting the consultant’s qualifications and relevant experience.

A letter of interest describing how the consultant will address each deliverables outlined above.

Detailed price quote for the services-production work should be quoted for separately.
