Vision
A Zambia where children with cerebral palsy and others with allied conditions live fulfilled lives.
Mission
Our mission is to empower children with cerebral palsy and others with allied conditions to reach their full potential by providing inclusive and quality education, quality healthcare, and support services that promote their holistic development and well-being.
AHDI is implementing a project called ‘Introducing sustainable farming to promote climate resilience among smallholder farmers,’ from August 2025 to July 2027 in Kafue District. The project is supported by International Climate Initiative, a department under GIZ. This is in an effort to compliment what Ministry of Agriculture is already implementing in the district. The effects of climate change have not spared anyone but some populations are harder hit due to their already vulnerable circumstances like disability.
Goal of the project
The goal of the project is to increase resilience and livelihoods of farmers by promoting sustainable agricultural methods, fostering their active engagement and empowerment in adapting to climate change.
The project approach is built upon four foundational pillars, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive intervention strategy delivered with technical support from relevant stakeholders through:
