Control Room Operator at Mansa Sugar

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented control room operator to join our team. The Successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing operations within the control room to ensure smooth and ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all systems;

Key Responsibilities;

Operation of sugar mill equipment from DCS control room in coordination with the mechanical supervisors
Monitor and control the operation of the plant from the control room to ensure stability and consistency in operation
Respond to alarms and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize down time
Perform routine checks and maintenance on control room systems and equipment
Maintain detailed logs and records of all operations, incidents, and maintenance activities
Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure coordinated operations
Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely
Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols at all times
Maintenance of the quality parameters across various areas of operation by ensuring the accuracy in operation

Qualifications

Full grade (12) certificate;
Diploma or better in Mechanical or electrical engineering or related field
Knowledge in automation process is preferable
Basic computer skills
At least 1 year of prior experience in a similar role
