The Mulungushi Village Complex Limited (MVCL) is a Real Estate and Hospitality Company established by the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ). The MVCL was incorporated in 2006 as a Limited Liability Company under the companies Act, CAP 386 of the Laws of Zambia. 2MVCL is a subsidiary of the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC). In its pursuit to remain as a premier choice for long and short stay accommodation, conferences and banqueting services, the MVCL seeks to appoint dynamic, motivated and pro-active persons to fill the following vacant positions:-

5.0 POSITION: 1X COOK

5.1 Job Purpose:

The position reports to the Human Resource Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing menus, meals for all employees, monitoring the food levels as well as the output of every meal made.

5.3 Qualifications and Experience:

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Certificate in Food Production.
• Minimum of 2 years.

5.4 Required Competencies and Personal Attributes:

Knowledge of food production, knowledge of food preparation, food hygiene and food costing.
