CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY OFFICER – ONE YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT (X1)
Reports to: Assistant Manager – Community Affairs
Job Purpose:
To ensure that the company has a positive impact on local communities and the environment by raising public awarene of a company’s social responsibility commitments through marketing,
Principle Accountabilities

Managing the toll-free number to enhance and support the company’s broader initiatives in community engagement.

Keep and update key project and sector information and statistics in the thematic areas of the departments, including updating fact sheets for the department
-
Assist with budget tracking for the department
-
Draft presentations and reports hand in hand with assistant manager, departmental head
-
To manage community requests and grievance tracker, including data entry and closure of request
-
To engage community liaison person and Assistant Manager on community requests received through the toll-free number
-
Refer grievances received to the Assistant Manager and follow the stipulated steps to complete the document.

Manage correspondence with stakeholders through letter drafting, creation of talking points
-
Hand in hand with the Head CR and Head CA manage departmental events

Updating the knowledge retention centre for the department including setting up of events, uploading reports, statistics, projects Update CR department information on approved knowledge management database

Maintaining confidential documents and files.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Grade 12 certificate
-
Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field or in any social science
-
3-5 years’ work experience in a similar capacity
-
Must possess leadership and management skills.

Good mobilising and coordinating skills.
-
Good interpersonal Skills
-
Good command of both oral and written communication
-
Possession of good leadership skills
-
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
-
Good computer literacy skills
-
Good command of English and one local language.
-
Must be in possession of a valid driver’s licence.
