Job Details:

The Driver will be responsible for the safe, efficient and productive hauling of material as may be assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Drive assigned trucks and avoid spillage on roads during operation.
Maintain the tyres for the trucks by not running over harmful objects
Maintain efficient and safe operational status of the machine by conducting prestart checks daily in order to ascertain its mechanical fitness for works
Ensure good house-keeping
Follow operating manuals and general signage
Report all defects on truck to workshop/transport section
Follow correct instructions from the respective supervisor and laid down procedure
Perform any other duties as me be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12 Certificate
Aged between 25 and 45 years
Class CE Driver’s licence-Held for at least 3 years from date of first issue
Minimum 3 years’ driving and operating experience of a 20 tones Chinese crane truck, tipper truck or similar
Ability to Drive and operate multiple equipment an added advantage
Good aptitude for fieldwork
Reliable / independent
