JOB PURPOSE
The Role is responsible for performing administrative, governance and credit related matters in a highly responsible and confidential nature for the Chief Credit Risk Officer and respective business unit.
Under the supervision of the
Chief Credit Risk Officer
the following are among the Job Key Responsibilities:
Administrative:

Filing and administration: board packs, board minutes, statutory returns, legal letters, correspondence from Units

Organize meetings, ad hoc board meetings or internal meetings

Managing incoming and outgoing calls for Chief Credit Risk Officer
-
Tracking that all incoming correspondence has been duly actioned
-
Ensuring accurate and timely filing of documents
-
Managing Travel and accommodation bookings for the Chief Credit Risk Officer
-
Diary management for the Chief Credit Risk Officer and arranging meetings and minutes taking.

Monitoring the divisional budget and highlighting areas of concern
-
Coordinating team events
Credit Governance:
-
Collating all the monthly reports from the Chief Credit Risk Officers direct reports and reporting the trends and key issues and tracking actions
-
Providing support to the Management Credit Committee secretariat by setting weekly meetings. taking minutes and drafting resolutions as well as following up on Matters arising.

Identifying & highlighting key issues in the media which impact the credit portfolio

Tracking divisional control issues (Audit (Internal & External), Risk Events, Compliance/Regulatory) and ensuring timely closure

Monitoring the End 2 End Credit TAT for all credit facilities

Tracking all the board actions and strategy deliverables and reporting progress

Working closely with the MIS officials to put together the board and strategy documents

Tracking Employee Opinion Survey actions for the Credit division up to closure
-
Tracking, monitoring and updating progress on all divisional projects and system related matters
-
Tracking and ensuring that all departmental Procedure manuals, Frameworks and policies are up to date
-
Tracking any regulatory dispensations that may be in place
-
Ensuring delegated authority mandate letters are in place and current.

Any other responsibilities assigned by the Chief Credit Risk Officer
